Dr Christiane Remke FRACP
After completing my medical training including a PhD at the Friedrich-Alexander -University of Erlangen - Nuernberg, Germany, I started my specialist training in Paediatrics in Nuernberg, Germany in 1998.
Coming to Australia in 2001, I completed my training in Paediatrics at The Royal Childrens’ Hospital in Melbourne. I received my Specialist qualification as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2005 and am qualified both as a General Paediatrician and a Clinical Allergist and Immunologist. Since then I have worked as a Paediatrician and Paediatric Allergist and Immunologist at Perth Children's Hospital (formally Princess Margaret Hospital) in Perth. I am a member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy ASCIA, Australia's peak body for allergists and immunologists as well as the European Association for Allergy and Clinical Immunology EAACI. I have undertaken further training in nutritional medicine with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, of which I am also a member. I practise both at Perth Children's Hospital and in my private rooms and feel privileged to be able to help parents achieve the best health outcomes for their children. Having a young family of my own, I share the concerns and worries we have about our childrens’ health and how we can best contribute as parents to our children growing up healthy and happy. |
